Respiratory Therapist

IV Respiratory Care is proud to offer comprehensive clinical care to the patients we care for. Our Respiratory Care Department is staffed by Respiratory Care Practitioners with a variety of clinical experience. All of our staff has acute and critical care experience prior to joining the home care team. Our respiratory team offers a comprehensive care package to our respiratory patients, provide support and instruction on the equipment and use. They also provide education and instruction on various disease states and treatment. They will assist patients and family with safe and effective use of all medical devices and ensure that patients are able to demonstration proper use.

Nursing Staff


The nurses have extensive training and experience in home infusion therapy. The nurses will educate the patient and/or caregivers in regards to the administration of the prescribed therapy. The training process is extensive and includes educating on the storage and handling of the prescribed infusion division(s), aseptic technique, the administration device and supplies, care of the IV catheter or enteral access device, and other appropriate issues. The education and assessment process will continue during follow up visits. The nursing staff will care for the patient's IV access device, perform lab draws, assess the patients response to therapy, monitor for adverse reactions or therapy complications and coordinate other health-related care as needed.


Pharmacy Staff

The pharmacy staff has extensive IV admixture experience. The pharmacists serve as a resource for drug information for both the patients and other healthcare professionals. The pharmacists will perform a thorough assessment of the patient's prescribed therapy, including a review of the patient's medication profile, their allergy profile, and their medical history. The pharmacists will perform therapeutic drug monitoring. They will coordinate, analyze, and trend all ordered lab values. The pharmacists will watch for the development of adverse effects to the prescribed medication and offer recommendations for management if appropriate.
